Walking near Seltjarnarnes

I was already there, but mainly I showed you pictures from the light house.

 Seltjarnarnes is located in the south west of Iceland. The Atlantic Ocean surrounds the town on almost every side except the east which faces towards the city of Reykavik. Seltjarnarnes is on the tip of a peninsula and is flanked by a beautiful desolate landscape. 

This township is located in the Greater Reykjavik area and the municipality of Seltjarnarnes used to include Reykjavik as a part of it.

Katedra w Reykjavíku

Katedra w Reykjavíku (isl. Dómkirkjan) - katedra luterańska w Reykjavíku.
Została wybudowana w latach 1789-1796 w stylu klasycystycznym przez duńskiego architekta Bertela Thordvaldsena.
W 1874 w katedrze po raz pierwszy wykonano hymn Islandii.
Członkowie parlamentu Islandii przed każdą sesją uczestniczą w nabożeństwie w katedrze.
Katedra mieści się przy ulicy Lækjargata.

Harpa is a concert hall and conference centre in Reykjavík.
This building was designed by the Danish firm Henning Larsen Architects in co-operation with Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson. 
The structure consists of a steel framework clad with geometric shaped glass panels of different colours.
